Cybercriminals are using deepfake technology to impersonate real people — including managers, coworkers, and clients — through fake videos, voices, or messages to trick you.

These scams are made to trick you into sending money, giving out information, or following fake instructions.

  2. Verify through a second channel (e.g., phone call, internal chat)
  3. Report anything suspicious to ICT/Security team immediately.
  4. Limit sharing personal photos or videos online — especially on public platforms.
  5. When posting videos, consider distorting your voice (e.g., using robot/AI voice) to avoid voice theft.
  6. Secure your accounts (social media, email) with strong passwords and 2-step verification.
